The importance of family photos
This extended family discovered the importance of family photos when dad started getting sick. So, they called me out to their parent's gorgeous backyard on the Vermilion River. We raced against the time we had with dad and fought with the sun directly in their faces at times for these pictures, but in the end, I'd say they came out picture perfect. Dad had enough midway through the photoshoot, but mom stuck around and got some sweet pictures with her grandkids, and we got exactly what they all wanted, photos with dad before he got too sick. I love how mom just gracefully looked at him and held his hand o so sweet while the kids talked to him. I believe out of all of the images we took that day those 3 pictures turned out to be my favorite. Life gets in the way, and it can be hard to get everyone together, but scheduling family photos should really be done as often as possible, especially extended family photos!
